| Strategy Approached |
Women affected by HIV are taught about the benefits of self help groups and are formed into Selfhelp Groups. So far, around 200 groups were formed in the operational area. Each group consists of 10 members. Each member saves Rs. 30/- every month. |

We have already launched more than 900 Income Generating Units for the benefit of HIV/AIDS infected and affected mainly women beneficiaries from our Self Help Groups |
| Beneficiaries |
All the eligible women in our Self Help Groups numbering 200 out of 2000 HIV/AIDS infected and affected women got economic empowerment through DSMFI. Every month we are able to get almost 100% recovery of the loan given to them. |
